Lucky Strike Original Red – Made under authority of Bristish American Tobacco Inc, USA.

Lucky Strike is rich in heritage and one of the world’s best-known brands. It was introduced in 1871 as a cut-plug chewing tobacco by the R. A. Patterson Tobacco Company of Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.. Patterson Tobacco was acquired by the American Tobacco Company in 1905, which introduced Lucky Strike as a regular-sized (70 mm), non-filtered, American blend cigarette in 1916 in an attempt to compete with the success of R. J. Reynolds’ Camel brand. Its distinctive red-on-green bullseye design was created by famous industrial designer Raymond Loewy, the man who also designed the Campbell’s Soup label, as well as the logos for Exxon Oil, Shell Oil, and Coca-Cola. The Lucky Strike logo would later become a prominent fixture in pop-era artist Ray Johnson’s collages.

In 1917, the brand started using the slogan “It’s Toasted”, meant to inform consumers about the manufacturing method in which the tobacco is toasted rather than sun-dried, giving Luckies a unique and distinctive flavour. The message “L.S./M.F.T.” (“Lucky Strike means fine tobacco”) was introduced on the package in the same year.

Lucky Strike Reds constitute a grade A American tobacco product that is well sought-after worldwide. The simplicity to its commercial package belies the rich taste when you light up. Known for its unique gourmet flavor, Lucky Strike Red commands a presence all on its own with a distinguished aroma.

It’s what’s on the inside that counts. Real tobacco taste…and plenty of it. Tobacco is our passion and a great smoke our promise. It’s Luckies. Enjoy.

First off ciggies world shipped my order fast. Good delivery time, and the product was double boxed to ensure no damage. Good service, very impressed.

I initially didn’t think I would like these because the low nicotine level but I gave them a try and I love them. They are not strong smokes but the pure tobacco taste with delicious toasted flavor on the exhale makes them worthy of buying again.

The smoke goes down smooth. Good burn time after packing them. Quality tobacco producing nice white ash.

These are very enjoyable. Just wish they had more nicotine in them but I will definitely be buying again. Big thanks to ciggies world.

    Not bad

  3. Lovin Johnson

I found these smokes to have a nice toasted flavour, but the harshness makes it hard to enjoy them. Mind you I use filter tips on all my smokes!

Great cigs. Fairly good shop time, maybe 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.

  5. Hunter

While yes, these are toasted, the tobacco used is a joke compared to the American non-filtered Luckies. These taste like a light cigarette. Oddly sweet too. I was really hoping these would simply be a filtered version of my favorite smoke. Unfortunately no. Even after trying one without a filter on, the difference is still night and day. I’ve tried a carton from both Sweden and Indonesia, hoping for a difference but there was none. Pity.

I bought three cartons of Lucky Strikes. That’s 30 packs of smokes, and about 600 cigarettes in total. Between me and my two friends we went through these bad boys in about a week. Thank you so much! <3

  7. Simon

Seriously my most delicious cigarette. Takes me back to my teen years before they were discontinued in the US. Will buy again. 🙂

  8. Jesse

Wonderful toasty roasty taste, a favorite for sure.

I enjoy lucky strikes, and really appreciate the non Fsc version. They are a good cigarette to have when you want non-menthol, there was a bit of an aftertaste I didn’t enjoy. Great fast shipping!

  10. Tezza

Tastes very similar to a Marlboro Red to me. A pleasant harshness, big throat hit and a lovely toasted flavour that just goes on and on. On the exhale, there is a perfume-like character that lingers with the aftertaste which I find a little sickly sweet, while at the same time rich and satisfying. Hard to explain. While a very nice smoke, the flavour is too overwhelming for me.
