Hadn’t smoked kretek for a number of years, but compared to American tobacco offerings since the flavor ban, this is one of the smoothest smokes I’ve had. The coffee flavor doesn’t come through much, but paired with a cuban espresso in the morning this really hits the spot.

These are white in color. Sweet tipped. They smell like cappuccino but after lighting not so much. They taste really good. Can’t place my finger on it, but they are one of my favorite clove cigarettes at the moment. Amazing flavor and aroma. They don’t taste anything like the Djarum blacks (which are also really good by the way). These have their own distinct flavor. Slow burning. Smooth and delicious!

Sweet tasting, not a strong cappuccino flavour but nice sweet clove. Among the products from Djarum, my favourites in order would have been :

Bali Hai
Splash
Capuccino
Special Blend
Black

I think this is not as strong as the Blacks but the flavour is awesome. Comes 16 in a pack!

Easy to order, arrived in less than 3 weeks to the US. Really impressed. Love the Blacks the best. They taste just like I remembered.

I had high expectations but they weren’t fulfilled, that aside these Kretek’s aren’t bad, they have an interesting flavor that taste very similar to a flavored cappuccino, though the use of fsc paper to roll em is a turn off. Overall it’s a great and enjoyable smoke to be savored, burn time is about 7-8 minutes so be sure to enjoy it and savor, definitely not for chain smoking, especially with the “TAR” and nicotine contents, worth a pack, but I wouldn’t order a carton. That’s just my two cents.

This was my first Kretek – I had been smoking American Djarum Black Menthols and someone suggested trying their cappuccino flavor through this site. I can’t taste any hint of coffee/cappuccino at all, though I taste SOMETHING. Not entirely sure what it is.

I immediately became lightheaded to the point where I had to lie down and pray that I didn’t black out, and I got nauseous. I tried to finish the cigarette but only made it halfway through.

However, these are incredibly smooth. Overall… I’ll never touch these again.

I love coffee and kreteks but I got these and didn’t like them. After I smoked 5 or 6 I gave the rest of the pack to someone who smokes Djarum blacks. She said they weren’t bad, so maybe if you’re a DJ black smoker these might be a nice change of pace.
