My favorite kretek – not overly clovey and more affordable than other brands. These are fairly strong, which is something I don’t mind. Like others before me said; these pair great with coffee.

Have always loved the taste of these..love them after a coffee..or cheese on toast, which really brings out that sweet spice

Really nice cigarettes. Leave a nice sweet taste on your lips thanks to the sweetened filter. Very strong cigarette that you can smoke for 10 minutes if you take it easy. Made me feel ill if I had more than 1 every few hours, though.

the taste of this cigarette changed very different since 2013, the cover is also different. I think the old taste is better.

The International is the most flavorsome filtered kretek by Gudang Garam. Their sauce recipe is a flavor that is distinctly their own, and it is perfectly balanced with their select tobacco. (I find that other filtered GG don’t come anywhere near this balance of flavor.) Though classically sized, these have a solid burn time and are delicious and very smooth all the way through. If you’ve never tried GG, start with these!

Powerful flavor and body. Flavorful from start to finish. Not as smooth as some and a bit of a bite, but I enjoy that in a cigarette. May sound weird but the little scratchiness I get in my throat after smoking these makes my voice noticeably deeper. I couldn’t smoke these all the time but they are definitely a nice treat.
