CGW Bako 50g – Super Premium Grade

CGW Premium Grade Bako uses only the leaves from the top and mid section of the tobacco plant. These premium grade tobaccos are very time consuming to produce. The curing process itself takes a whole month by drying the freshly harvested tobacco leaves under the sun aka Javanese Sun Cured method.  The curing method has been practiced by the locals here for centuries. Once cured, these tobaccos are then stored away for at least another twelve months to further enhance the flavor. No blending, additives or flavors need to be added to the tobacco because the tobaccos itself are already so amazingly fragrance.

Due to the 12 months drying process, the tobacco will be very dry, We kept it this way to preserve the natural taste and aroma of the tobacco. You can add some orange or apple peel in a closed jar with the tobacco overnight to re-hydrate the tobacco.

  3. Elliot Heinrich

It was so dry it was completely unsmokable. Very disappointed

  4. Elliott

Yes it is dry, however, once rehydrated it is an enjoyable smoke. In saying this, it is not something that I can personally smoke each day due to the harshness of the smoke.
I’m all for a strong cigarette but with this tobacco it is not as enjoyable as the other strong ones.
It has a tea like smell and taste to it which is enjoyable at first but you get over it quickly.
